I made a small addition to the insectopia series. Hope you like them and Happy Holidays!
The name Styrofoam Boots comes from one of my all time favorite bands, Modest Mouse. Even thought that is the name, the theme of this piece is not based on the song’s lyrics. The “title” came after the illustration was already drawn out, and I felt that the name related pretty well to the theme of this story.

This piece was inspired and for special someone and her little friend. Which will be missed very much.
I have been trying keeping busy, and trying to keep my mind off a few things… Here is a new illustration called “All Sweet and Honeycombed”. The name comes from a line in a band’s song that I used to listen to a lot, called At the Drive in, and has stuck with me for a long time.
