These really cool oil paintings are from Maurizio Bongiovanni. They look like photos manipulated in photoshop, but what I find amazing about them is the distortion and use of color. I wouldn’t mind owning one of this pieces.

More Bongiovanni paintings here

Saw these over at Scott Hansen’s ISO50 Blog

APAK is an amazing artistic duo of husband and wife Aaron Piland and Ayumi Kajikawa Piland. They live in Portland, Oregon and they are known because of their awesome gouache and acrylic work on wood. I love their work, specially the tiny charismatic characters that they create. Make sure to check more of their work out!

Zhou FanZhou FanZhou Fan

I came across some amazing work via ffffound by Zhou Fan a Chinese Contemporary Artist born 1983. Since 2006 his work has been displayed at many gallery shows in China, Dubai, Bahrain and more…

I really admire the very detailed organic shapes of mushroom-jellyfish like forms and also the intriguing use of color.

Make sure to check out his portfolio for more work at Zhou Fan Art dot com
