happy birthday ph7labs!

Came across the amazing Chandra X-ray Observatory set on the Smithsonian’s Flickr, and was blown away. Every time I pay close attention to pictures of space, life’s perspective changes. It reminds me of two theories I used to tell my friends when I was around 12 years old.
One was that I believed that life is nothing more than energy, what I meant, was that human life is nothing more than a glimpse of time, a transition of energy and we are just a small part of a huge explosion.
For example an atomic bomb, if you could imagine the explosion in slow motion you can notice the blast energy that expands until it ages and then dies. Through this expansion of energy, particles are charged with energy and given a lifespan of life and death. Just like humans we are born, we age and finally die.

My other theory, was that we could define the infinity of space by comparing our solar system to an atom. Where the sun is the nucleus and the planets around the sun are electrons in constant movement. Therefore we can look at any object in a different light, and notice that atoms are part of anything that can be touched physically. In conclusion, earth is made by an infinite amount of atoms, Earth is then an electron in the solar system, which is a giant atom. Therefore our solar system is an atom part of giant object in an other world that is a particle in another place and so on… And same goes in reverse as any atom on earth has electrons/planets, and they are made up of other smaller solar systems.

And then went out to skateboard.

Today, I had lunch with the legendary T-doodle collective. And on the way back to the office, I looked up to check if the new Diesel Wall was up. And it was… a simplified version of an american burger. I looks good but I think that a monster like this one ;) would’ve caught more attention from the passersby.
I came across the Be Kanye Ad on the train this week. The Ad promotes “Be Kanye” effervescent Tablets, which claim to transform you into cool Kanye West. This ad is only part of the Be Kanye tablets Campaign from Absolut, which includes train, bus, newspaper and online advertising.
It’s a great concept, the ad has been receiving a lot of attention on the trains. The design approach immediately pulled me in, because the ad actually looks like some sort of hair replacement ad. But even though the Ad is getting a ton of attention in the trains (specially for Kanye West) I am intrigued about the return the Ad will have for Absolut Vodka.
