Typekit is a subscription based service that allows anyone to add real fonts to the web. After reading the short description of what Typekit was all about, it only took me about 10 minutes to get up and running with the service. I was really amazed about how simple it was to add Typekit to my website.

Basically all you need to do, is to simply add 2 lines of code and set up an account over at typekit.com. I chose the Free account, once you have your account set up, all you have to do is follow the directions to pick the Font you would like to use and define which selectors on your site will use this font. And thats it!

It’s the easiest solution I have found for using real fonts on you site, easier than any flash replacement techinique out there. And the best part of it all is that it’s completely legal!
Typekit works with high-quality Open Type fonts from some of the worlds best type foundries out there.

If you are like me, constantly typing in english and spanish on a Mac notebook; you may be wondering how to type an enye on you keyboard. Since there is no Alt + 0164 on the mac just do the following.

To write a letter Enye (ñ) :

1 – Press option + n on your keyboard, then release. You should see a wierd squiggly line.

2- Then press n (just n)

And that’s it.
