1 – To Start, tell us a bit about yourself where you were born and where you live…

I was born in Curitiba, the biggest city in southern Brazil. In 2006 I moved to Buenos Aires, where I live and work. I’m currently a freelancer, soon I like to start a studio project where I can share experiences with another professionals. I confess that I work at home is a little bit bored.

4- Can you describe for us what a regular day is like for you?

I’m the guy who checks the mail before anything .. I try to sleep at least 6 hours a day, I’m trying to do some exercise every morning before starting work.
I work since i wake up, I haven’t a rutine, and usually work until bedtime. Many times I go to a walk, chat with friends .. all this kind of thing keeps me alive to continue working.

5- What is your most common approach for completing a project?

First try to clarify the most of the brief and clear any doubts before starting the creative process. The first stage is research, and don’t start the sketches before to be clear what I mean. Usually I don’t make many sketches, usually first thing I do is pretty close to what will be the final piece. If I have any locks, I try to share my ideas with others. Knowing when to end is usually a problem, I try to organize and focus the lens, so that does not become longer than it should.

6- Out of all your work what is your favorite piece and why?

I’m too self-critical, I think all my designs could be better than they are. I have a list of already completed pieces that I like to work again, but now I need time. I have affection for the piece “hot headphone” but rather the process and not the end result. To develop this piece I had fun with scissors and bend, something unusual in my daily work.

Definitely not. It’s a constant battle against personal frustrations, creative blocks, clients who need better education .. It takes great patience, dedication and hard work. It is not easy but it’s offset .. I never liked simple things..

8- Who is your biggest influence?

It is hard for me to cite a single great influence, I try not to stick to one style. I am very influenced by the work of Milton Glaser, Herb Lubalin, Escher, and most current I’m enjoying very much the work of Gary Fernandez and Steve Scott.

i believe there is a difference between a direct copy and ispiring:

el primer trabajo es una copia demasiado obvia de Julien Vallée

la sexta imagen es otra copia demasiado obvia esta vez de Alex Trochut

creo que hay una diferencia clara entre copiar e inspirarse.
